Did you know that in England, traditionally “High Tea” is served between 5pm and 7pm, with hearty foods such as pot pies and sliced meats, hot dishes, salads and cakes, taking the place of dinner?
What the English know as “Afternoon Tea” is what we Americans call High Tea – light refreshment in the early afternoon.
