Join us at our new Outreach Center facilities on Saturday, December 12, for lunch (free!) and Dominoes.

We are going to have a snack type lunch: Ham, relish plate and chips.

We will play dominoes for those that love a great game of Mexican Train!

Did you know that individual dominoes are colloquially nicknamed bones, cards, tiles, tickets, stones, or spinners?

The earliest mention of dominoes is from the Song dynasty in China. Dominoes first appeared in Italy during the 18th century.  Although no one knows how Chinese dominoes developed into our modern game, it is speculated that Italian missionaries in China may have brought the game to Europe.

The name “domino” is from the resemblance to a kind of hood worn during the Venice carnival.

Time: 10:00am – 2:00pm

Cost: Free
