This will be the second year that the Outreach Center is taking a road trip to see the amazing entertainment group Cirque du Soliel, scheduled for Sunday, June 14.
We’ll be leaving in enough time for us to arrive at the rest-stop/picnic area by 11:30 am (assuming the weather is nice) and we’ll have a picnic lunch (provided by Outreach) from Subway.
This helps break up the drive. We’ll then head to the Pepsi Center in Denver, arriving approximately 12:30. Showtime is 1 pm. After the 90 minute show, we’ll stop at the Cracker Barrel for dinner. You are responsible for your dinner costs.
The Cirque du Soleil is a world famous theater/ gymnastics group has a total of over 1300 performers that includes 50 nationalities speaking 25 different languages. At any one time shows are being performed in hundreds of venues all across the globe.
Each show is a synthesis of circus styles from around the world, with its own central theme and story line.
This year’s show is called “KUROS – Cabinet of Curiosities.” Reality is Relative. What if you could alter reality at will? Delve into a world of curiosity where seeing is DisBelieving!
The show immerses you in a mysterious and fascinating realm that disorients your senses and challenges your perceptions, leaving you to wonder: “Is it real or just a figment of my imagination?”
With the awe-inspiring, almost super-human, gymnastic performances, along with state-of-the-art lighting and music – you might just wonder about your imagination!
This year’s road show is sold out.
For those of you who aren’t able to go this year – make plans now to join this road trip in 2016 – the Cirque du Soleil performances are so incredible you simply won’t believe your eyes.
